On Friday, June 13, Hammersmith Management’s signature philanthropic event of the year, the 11th Annual Hammersmith Invitational Golf Tournament, delivered record results once again. Through vendor partnership and support, and as part of Hammersmith’s CommUNITY Care commitment, the 2014 tournament raised over $15,000 for the Denver Scholarship Foundation, this year’s beneficiary.
An outstanding event like this couldn’t take place without a premier venue, and Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton provided that setting. Located in the foothills southwest of Denver, golfers enjoyed scenic views while playing in a 4-person scramble format. The day was filled with fun and festivities on the course as golfers had the opportunity to participate in games, win prizes, and visit with vendors who sponsored tents and hospitality booths at each tee box. Following golf, everyone was treated to lunch, an awards ceremony, and had the chance to bid on items in an impressive silent auction containing sports memorabilia, trips, and themed baskets.
