Nominate Your Charity - HMI commUNITY Care

Thank you for choosing to nominate a non-profit or charity. Charity is to give out money, goods or services in a voluntary or merciful manner. It is important to give to charity as you are able to help other people, you make a difference in the society, you feel good about yourself, and you can support a cause that you believe in.

Tips for choosing a charity:

Clarify your beliefs or and preferences
Think about what matters to you most.
Think about where you want to make an impact.
Ask yourself if you want to support a new, old, large or a small non-profit/charity.
Do your research to ensure the non-profit or charity aligns itself with what you want to see your time, money or goods go to.

Once your application is received, a member of our Philanthropic Committee will get in touch with the non-profit organization or charity you have nominated and perform a qualification check. The nomination will then be discussed and voted upon at our next Philanthropic Committee meeting. A non-profit organization or charity will be chosen each quarter for a donation of goods, services, or money. Hammersmith Management will match donations received from employees, homeowners associations, or residents. If your nomination is chosen, a Hammersmith philanthropic team member will be in touch with you. If your nomination is not immediately chosen, it will remain in the discussion stages and will still be voted upon each quarter.
